SCSUG Student & Faculty Scholarship Program
The South Central SAS Users Group offered student and faculty scholarships to support students and faculty interested in attending the SCSUG 2014 Educational Forum that will be held November 10-11 in Austin, Texas.
Student Scholarships
Includes waived forum registration fee, hotel accommodations (two nights) and a $150 travel stipend (provided at the forum).
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a full or part-time college level student using SAS in coursework or on the job
- Must provide a professor's name and contact information as a reference and alternate contact (if this information is left off the application, the application will not be considered)
- Must be enrolled in classes at the time of the forum (Fall 2014)
- Must be able to provide a valid student ID or proof of enrollment
Please note that student scholarship winners are asked to volunteer at the conference as part of the award.
Faculty Scholarships
Includes waived forum registration fee. Please note that travel and lodging are not included in this scholarship.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a faculty member (full-time or adjunct) at a degree granting institution
- Currently be teaching or advising students using SAS, or plan to use SAS in an upcoming semester within the 2014-2015 school year

SCSUG Junior Professional Award Program
The South Central SAS Users Group offered Junior Professional awards to attend this year's SCSUG Educational Forum November 10-11 in Austin, Texas, to support new professionals who have been using SAS for 3 years or less (cumulative) in their careers.
Junior Professional Awards –
Includes waived forum registration fee and hotel accommodations (two nights).
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a recent graduate (fall 2013 or later) of a college or university and have used SAS in coursework or research
OR
- Must have used SAS on the job for three years or less and would not otherwise be funded by your company to attend the forum (part-time or full-time employment)
AND
- Must provide a supervisor's or professor's contact information as a reference and alternate contact
Please note that Junior Professional Award winners are asked to volunteer at the conference as part of the award.
